Derrick Blanton grew up in North Carolina, moving to Myrtle Beach when he was 19 years old. He learned the construction business from the ground up, thus gaining the experience that today makes him a versatile businessperson. Derrick says that he would not build a home that he would not be proud to live in himself. A man committed to his Christian faith and to reaching out to others, Derrick believes, “ God has selected us and has entrusted us to use our gifts wisely…for His good.” An avid outdoorsman, Derrick lives in Murrell’s Inlet with his wife and two stepdaughters.
